View Class Schedules, Class Descriptions and Samples of Class Work Online Susan Marie's usually posts online a three month calendar of classes and events. If you register at Susan Marie's, you will also receive that information in a newsletter and can receive additional updates if you wish through email. Susan Marie's tries to post online samples of class work. The samples web page images usually allow you to click on an image and a larger image will load on your computer screen. Along with a sample of many class projects, all classes, including costs and necessary supplies, are described on the current classes web page.

Scheduling a Class at Susan Marie's Classes are filled on a first come, first served basis. You are enrolled in a class at Susan Marie's once you have registered and payment has been received for the class. Registration for classes may be done over the phone with a credit card, or in person with any of the usual forms of payment. The class fee covers the cost of instruction only unless otherwise noted. Supply lists for each class will be available upon registration. Please remember to pick up your supply list as soon as possible.

Susan Marie's classroom provides ample working space for each class participant. Class size is maintained in order to ensure that each class participant will be able to receive personal help from the class instructor during the class session. If a class is scheduled before or after regular store hours, the store will open 15 minutes before class time to accommodate students.

You will need to bring your sewing machine (in good working order and with the manual) with you to class unless otherwise noted. We sometimes have a machine available to borrow, but please reserve it ahead of time to prevent any confusion. Also: Rotary cutter and mat; Scissors, seam ripper; Thread, bobbins; Straight pins, pin cushion; Pen and paper to take notes Please put your name on supplies. Everyone’s rulers, mats and cutters look the same and it will help us to determine to whom they belong to should they get left behind.

Cancelling a Class - A Class is Cancelled All classes have a minimum and maximum number of students. If you have registered for a class, and the minimum number of students has not been reached, you will be contacted by phone and a full refund will be issued to you. If you have to cancel a class, to receive a full refund, your cancellation notice must be given at least one week before class. (Example: The 3rd of the month would be the last day to cancel a class that started on the 10th). If you cancel with less than one week’s notice and we’re able to fill your spot we will issue you a store credit. Books cannot be returned.

Please come to class prepared for class; bring scissors, thread, fully equipped machine, (I.e., surge protector, knee lift, slide table…)
