Swiss Fest Weekend Party - March 6, 2010
We are celebrating "All Things Swiss", the home to the 116 year old Bernina Corporation. All Bernina machines will be on sale. Our Swiss Fest Weekend Party also includes free demos of many Bernina Techniques, a Trivia Contest throughout the day with free prizes, and a class for Swiss Rucksack (their backpack).
Come and enjoy the Swiss music, chocolate fountain, and other Swiss foods. Maybe the staff will be dressed in Dirndl costumes!
Bernina Stitch Regulator
Did you know that as fabric is moved under the Bernina Stitch Regulator, the optical sensor of the BSR adjusts the motor speed of your machine and the up and down motion of the needle to compensate for the type of fabric you are working with.
The Bernina Stitch Regulator can do: Freehand, Stipple, Echo, Outline, Continuous Line Quilting, Freehand Thread Painting, Double Needle Shadow Work, Freehand Trapunto, Sashiko, Silk Ribbon Embroidery and Bobbin Work.
# 7 Tailor Tack Foot
Just one of the many accessories available for your machine, the #7 Tailor Tack Foot is designed to eliminate the tedious job of marking garment pieces with hand tailor tacks. This foot offers a way to stitch thread loops on fabric for marking seam lines, darts and notches. A sample of the techniques this Foot can do are: Fagsling, Fringe, Chenille Appliqué, Embellishing Appliqués, and even sewing on large buttons.

Made by Gracie, the Quilt Frame has the Twist n' Lock Rails system which provides a fast and easy way to extend your fram from a crib size to a king size. Advancing your fabric is so simple using the highly accurate tension control ratchets. With just a twist of the knob, your locking and unlocking the quilt tension is done.
The Quilt Frame comes with a set of pre printed quality canvas leader clothes for easy installation on your frame. With 8 large 1 1/2 inch bearings, the carriage system provides smooth and accurate control as you work.
