Susan Marie's is located just north on Ridgeland avenue, at the intersection of 135th Street and South Ridgeland avenue in Palos Heights. Our store is on the east side of the street, part of a small shopping area.

Susan Marie's is a family owned and operated authorized BERNINA sales, service and training, sewing machine dealership and quilt shop. Our goal is complete customer satisfaction. We are committed to educating, inspiring, and supporting our customers and their love of quilting and sewing.

That means all of the BERNINA machines we use and sell in our store come direct from BERNINA. They are backed by all manufacturer's guarantees. Located close to a BERNINA supply center, if Susan Marie's does not have the BERNINA you want in our stock, it will still be in your hands within a day or two at the most. Susan Marie's provides training for machines we sell. Susan Marie's offers a wide variety of classes providing our customers with hands on instruction to make every sewing, embroidery or quilting project of yours a success. Susan Marie's posts a calendar of classes on line, and emails a newsletter of those classes. All instructors have made the projects used in each class. Susan Marie's has a Meet the Teacher Day, when you can visit Susan Marie's and purchase class supplies at reduced prices.

Susan Marie's even sponsors a session not offered by other local BERNINA dealers. Susan Marie's is electronically connected to BERNINA and provides live broadcasts of BERNINA training and information sessions directly into Susan Marie's classroom.

When you visit Susan Marie's, you will usually see a variety of quilts hanging along our walls. They are samples of class projects, samples of projects we have available for purchase, and examples of work done by our customers, friends and teachers. The fabric aisles contain hundreds of bolts of the best quality fabrics. Usually above the bolts of fabric, you will find Fat Quarters ready for purchase. Kiosks, fabric shelf tops and our walls are lined with books, magazines, accessories and notions. Of course, you will find many of the current BERNINA machines on display. You will also usually find one of our teachers working and demonstrating the capabilities of one of our BERNINA machines.
