Susan Marie's technicians can service and repair all makes and models of machines, whether they are a BERNINA machine or a different company's machine.
Susan Marie's technicians are BERNINA trained specialists. Every new BERNINA purchased from Susan Marie's includes the first two years of cleanings. Susan Marie's technicians inspect and set up every BERNINA before that machine is delivered to the customer.
BERNINA machines seem to last forever, but a yearly inspection, cleaning and adjustment can insure that your BERNINA also continues to work as well as when you first purchased your machine.
Susan Marie's technicians will clean and inspect every area of your machine. If any additional work is needed or recommended, you will be contacted beforehand. With a BERNINA facility located within the Chicago area, it usually only takes a short time before a part or new accessory can be picked up, and installed in your machine. Remember to bring the #1 Foot and Regular Stitch Plate when you bring your machine in for cleanings, inspections or other servicing.
You can also help maintain your BERNINA. You can check with Susan Marie's, or at the BERNINA web site, if software or firmware patches, updates and other such changes are available and should be downloaded and installed into your machine.
Whether your machine is electronic or mechanical; a sewing machine, embroidery machine or a serger, Susan Marie's technicians can usually service it. Do not forget that your machine should have the recommended cleaning, oiling and adjustment done at least once a year. This is especially true for those who spend a great deal of time working with their machine. Bring all the parts along that might be necessary to test your machine, such as Foot, stitch plate and bobbin with bobbin case, so we can test sew with your machine.
